Doomed to repeat, like "outer limits" on UHF - this time you can see the effect on policy...
Your usage patterns of the world wide web indicate to us that you are at risk of attracting attention from some nasty awful people who will ruin your life forever. Your repeated accessing of information which is generally deemed 'illegal' has left electronic footprints which, as you can see - have been traced back to your email., ip address, and with an easy to obtain warrant, your bedroom.
We don't care. We don't make value judgements about other people based on a single facet of their personality. We don't consider curiosity criminal or equate fantasy with activity.
What is true is that your online behaviour places you in the crosshairs of the censors of the internet and their hatchet men. These people are powerful social engineers who nail you fast and quietly if you cross their ever-changing lines.
They have cultivated the image of bumbling donut-eaters whose most sophisticated tool is entrapment. This is a carefully cultivated camouflage - they were recruited elite and it's harder to unlearn than acquire skills. Their vigilance depends on so many societal variables that it is difficult to say who will be the first to pave the way to the new purges that could very well happen.
Whether or not you like it, you are stumbling through the trenches in the front lines of free speech and free thought. We're going to help you turn up the ECCM and perhaps try to snipe out a few of their sensors.
The following URL contains information and documents which may help:
http://www.sociology.com
It includes sections for: information on live CD distributions, remailers, proxies, other anonymization techniques, resources to sexual information, lists of incriminating files kept by windows, known spyware, archival optimization, wipe utilities, networking secrets, browser-specific issues, and encryption tools. Some of this information has been rewritten into step by step instructions for the less technically-minded.
There is also a public directory for updated lists and other information. Spamming will not be tolerated and may be punished in unorthodox ways.
You can also, if you wish - pick up a Trojan generator. The Trojan packages are in a separate subdirectory and are passworded - so that only one of our operatives will be able to access it.
Once in a while, Santa's elves will rummage through your system, clean up the bad things,
and leave you little notes on what to do to improve your security or your sex life.
Included in the same Trojan bundle is a program to effectively remove it. You may need to turn off virus scanners before installing. We won't give firewall instructions, if you are using a good firewall this is probably not a good solution for you.
Unless you know a secret - something everyone would like to know - read the information kept there. All secrets are equally precious until told.
Learn this. Use it.
Yours,
The Q.C.I.C.
A brief plug for your knights in shining amour:
"We are the Q.C.I.C. The Q.C.I.C., herein also referred to as Q is an organisation based on the Latin 'Quis custodiet ipsos custodes' translated as Who shall watch the watchers."
Founded in Switzerland in 1793 by an educator, an actor, and a musician as an adjunct to several momentous discussions on the natural progression of human sexuality in the information age, The Q has grown in numbers and spread to the U.K. and the U.S.A.
"We are not a law enforcement agency, we are crime-fighters. That is, we prevent crimes from becoming crimes. We like to help out before any real damage is done."
Thousands have come to our magical armoury and outfitted themselves with might or stealth to whatever tasks they choose. Many have requested personal help and received it - silently and anonymously.
"You can see us as an independent active arm of the ACLU online. Lawyers who always win, with clients who are always guilty. Although perhaps we have our own interpretations of the Bill of Rights in mind at times."
The Q grows daily in expertise, vision, and scope - with new members joining all the time.
We are an intermilitary enterprise. The one-upmanship of partially funded bureucracies are not ours. We are not the guardians of your morals, but of your right ot the pursuit of happiness. Let's get at least that clear.
We join other organisations and help network, as moles. We serve our fellow man, foolish as he may be. To join, just email joinQCIC@hotmail.com with your handle,
and that account will be mailed back full details.
Our mission is simple: "We provide gratis consultancies and technical assistance online to those that seem to require it."
